What happened:

During preparation of SoW, Marine department needed input from Engineering Company (InterMoor) to produce maps and coordinates for anchors and rig fairleads. A corridor to each side of the proposed anchorlines was to be established by the Engineering company. This was done by rotating rig heading to each side to identify corridors. When data was sent back to Marine department, rig heading was not rotated back to its origin heading leading to wrong anchorline corridors to be described in SoW.

What was planned:

ROV survey of proposed anchor line corridors to identify corals and vulnerable species

What was learned:

Better verification of data before publishing.

What actions are required:

Make sure 3rd party company QC`s data before submitting to customer and Recipient of data to do internal verification before using data.
